MyLoco Sound? ( mylocosound.com ) Don't know if it will talk like Thomas would in a cartoon.
Rex in Pinetop I'm going to down-load some Thomas audio onto my iPod and then put it and some speakers into one of the trail cars.
Rex; I’ve done exactly the same (but with different sounds) using "Clearance" priced iPod wannabes (the $10 with very small memory ones. Look over in the Toy Department at Walmart. They come in multiple varieties of iCarley, Hannah Montana, Sponge Bob, Thomas the Tank…. etc.) and personal speakers, about the size of "AA Battery" that plugs into earplug outlet. I think this system works just fine. I found about 15 minutes worth of "Honky Tonk" music that works quite well in the saloon at the local hotel; the "iPod" plays continuous loops just fine.

I originally posted this in General Discussion. Rene said today that she moved some postings around so I guess mine was one of them. Not a big deal.
I think I have solved the Thomas sound issue. I'm going to down-load some Thomas audio onto my iPod and then put it and some speakers into one of the trail cars.
Has anyone done the battery/RC conversion of the Bachmann Thomas?

I posted this question earlier but it was moved today by someone unknown - probably by someone with sysadmin access. I hope I didn't do anythin wrong??
My Thomas arrived under the tree and now I want to convert it to battery power and RC. I have an Airwire decoder. Has anyone done the conversion yet? How did you wire it? Also is there a Thomas sond system available out there?
