Good to know Al. There was quite a bit on conversation about that ad over at LSC and just about everyone agreed with you.

Fathers Day ad redux

In May or June of this year there was a thread that discussed what some believed to be an inappropriate picture of a man and a small boy walking along train tracks as the illustration for a fathers day ad by this publication. I took the position as the son of a retired railroad claims investigator that the picture was inappropriate because it promoted a dangerous activity. Many disagreed with me and thought the picture was harmless and the sentiment being expressed was more important. I can't say that either position is necessarily affected by this news since the discussion was over the influence of the pix itself as opposed to the activity illustrated in the photo. But this news ought to make some stop and think just a bit more.
