If you're using the "G" scale couplers, then you want the centerline at 1 1/8". That's their standard, and it's the same height to which Bachmann's and Accucraft's 1:20.3 couplers are set. (They are compatible with Kadee's G-scale couplers.) If you're using Kadee's #1 scale couplers, their standard is a 1 1/16" centerline.

The scale part I can answer. All the Big Hauler line is "G" scale, 1:22.5, the same a original LGB. The Bachmann ten wheeler is a fairly accurate model of the East Tennessee & Western North Carolina (ET&WNC) 3 foot narrow gauge ten wheeler.

The Bachmann Spectrum line is 1:20.3 scale, correct scale for 3 foot narrow gauge, though some of it's models were not 3 ft.NG prototypes (like the Connie and new Forney).

4-6-0 Bachmann Scale?
Posted by SP Trains on Thursday, November 19, 2009 9:09 PM

Anyone know the scale of the Latest Bachmann 4-6-0 Annie's. The one I got doesn't say anywhere. Just "Large scale" And in that scale whatever it is, what is the hight the couplers should be? I am adding Kadee Couplers and have no idea. Any help. ty F/SP
