Nice job.
Sort of reminds me of the old MKT (Katy) colors, but your version has a lot more class without all those busy cab stripes:

Very nice! Sharp looking paint. The subtle weathering on the trucks, along with the far-more-weathered GP-30 behind it brings it even more to life.

The CJM logo and numbers are paint and the smaller ones are pictures of the real thing I reduced on my computer and printed on decal paper .
Howdy Mike; beautiful work. Being a native far westerner I’m partial to dynamic braking, however you’ve got a handsome looking loco. Did you use decals, if so what kind?
Have fun, Rob
Here at the C.J.and M. we finally agreed upon a new paint sceme for our motive power . Before the railroad simply painted out the original railroads name and number and replaced it with our own . The first unit to get the "treatment" is a USA GP38-2 . It was a CSX unit numbered 7666 . Now it is CJM 206 and we now call it a GP-39M. I updated it by removing the dynamic brakes, adding kadee 830 couplers and installing L.E.D. headlites and ditchlites and the new fan driven smoke unit . I was able to use all the existing circut boards for the lites but had to get USA's new board for the smoke unit .Thanks to all that replied to my previous posts on the rebuilding of the locomotive . Here are a few pictures .
