Northwest Shortline Super Magic Carpets

Any ideas, pro and con, about the use of Northwest Shortline Super Magic Carpets for use in Bachmann cars and for repowering of Bachmann/Aristocraft engines in terms of ease of installation and performance under outdoor conditions?

I would just use the original replacement motor blocks, unless you are doing a BASH of some kind.

I would do the same. NWSL has recently changed hands, and I ordered some wheels months ago.

The person on the phone had no clue about what I wanted, a very simple request, and they took my CC info, and nothing further, no emails, calls, or wheels.

I hope some day they get back up to speed..

 Regards, Greg

This is nothing new for NWSL -- their prior management was the same way.  Couldn't even tell me what size or type of replacement wheels I needed for an Athearn HO scale diesel engine, although they must sell hundreds of them every month.

When I figured out what I needed from their catalog and placed an order, I had to wait nearly 3 months for delivery.
