I get a bunch of goodies for the RR each year form the "After Christmas Sales" from Michaels, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Target and especially from the local "indoor" nurseries. I have collected the items needed for an amusement park, carousel, ferris wheel. (Actually that should say "The Wife has collected")

Hitting the post "halloween" sales has greatly increased the size of our halloween garage display each year. Thankfully it is in 3rail "O". Approve

Love the Bear !

I purchased him at a Christmas Store in NH several years ago. He is actually a Christmas Tree ornament. I have found some great stuff in these stores such as the accessories for those village scenes, such as rolls of brick roads, cast stone walls and other neat stuff.

At least your critters stay in the woods. How would you like to deal with this guy?

I think someone whose name starts with S has been over to play trains with you!   You don't show any trains with his blue livery on them, but I'll bet they were there!  As I understand the story, that is the real blue moose!

He also tells a good story!

The animal bearing name Alces alces is known in Europe as elk and in North America as moose.  Poor guy, to spend his entire life with those initials, A.A.  Though I've heard tell that he is a real party animal! Shall we consider ourselves "mooned by ‘da moose"
