Nope. Not Dave the dumbass. Now it's Dave the "little more experienced".
altterrain The middle one is the correct one actually, at least according to Aristo guru Ron Wenger. He told me it should be pumpkin to pumpkin (easy to remember it that way). -Brian

Not to contradict a Guru But I have no plains to redo any of my 5-U25b's or 4-RS3's to match Pumpkin to pumpkin, BTW they do travel the same direction as my 7 F3's And the list go's on........

Dave:
I must object to your calling these actions "dumb", "mistakes", and "brain farts". These activities you describe are in reality "experience enhancing", "learning opportunities" and "knowledge base expansions".
My most recent "learning experience" involves a New Brite engine and a new set of rubber tires (actually: rubber "O" rings from my local NAPA store.) Instead of having another running engine, I now have a spare cab for a future bash, I have a rusting boiler to set along the rails (OK, it is still black and silver but a bit of paint will fix that.) Among the other spare parts are an electronic board that produces horrible sounds, some strange looking wheels, (they look like possible candidates as millstones) a small can motor that has possibilities of becoming a rail sweeper. I'll drop in a pix later.

How bad have YOU messed up latly???
the one in the middel was reassmembeled wrong and ran backwards. I found this out after none of the engins ran. Brain fart #1 all of the 24 bushings were cloged with paint thanks to me . So after removing all of the sideframe's and cleaning I reinstalled them in the same order. Brain fart #2 thats when i found the A unit to run backwards, So I removed the side frames disconnected the power leads swaped motor blocks reassambled and it still ran backwards...... the fix was remove sideframes, turn blocks to correct orention, same as A/B units. I did use a U25 to conferm correct orention.
