 Any suggestions for track design software for garden railroads?

I like RR-Track if you have a PC. Simple to use right away for basic layouts with sectional track, but also has great scenery tools and 3-D viewing capability as you master the product. Also can be used for flex track design, but not as powerful as other packages in that area. Has very complete libraries of sectional track from LGB, Aristo-craft and several other popular 45mm gauge brands. Very good grade building tool - better than most.

Unfortunately I mostly use a Mac nowadays. So I had to try a few packages for that platform. RailModeller is the better of the two I tried, but it doesn't hold a candle to RR-Track. It doesn't let you design grades (that I can find) and it is a lot more awkward to move sections of track around when you are working thru trial-and-error designs. But I haven't found a better product on the Mac platform yet.....

There is a lot more to cover here but I'll let someone else chime in.
