Aristocraft Train Engineer CRE57000

I have a new 57000. I installed it in a locomotive using a CRE55610 lithium battery.  The receiver and transmitter linked and then I lost all bars on the transmitter.  The transmitter will not control the loco.  The battery is putting out 25.5 volts (it is a 21.5 volt battery).  Is this voltage "blowing out" the receiver?  I have called Aristocraft twice but all I get is voicemail and no return call.

I suggest you post this on the Aristo-Craft Forum, there are many there who have the same TE as you have.

Using the Forum facilities you could also send an e-mail or message to Lewis Polk or someone else at Aristo to get an answer.

As far as UK availability is concerned I suggest you get in touch with Andrew at Garden Rail Centres, Cheltenham.  He has had them a while now and his web site says he has them in stock.

Are you able to re-link right afterwards? There are more than a few reports of losing link.

Aristo often recommends lowering the voltage, but the people who have done this did not solve their problems.

definitely go to aristocraft.com, and check out the battery,R/C forum.  There is a lot of info there from users of the new Revolution.   I think everyone there with link problems have overcome them.  The most common problem seemed to be with battery power - both in the TX and/or the RX.  Some had problems with cheaper batteries in the TX.  Try Duracell.  With the RX, it seemed to be hookup/wiring problems and/or installation.  A couple of people just turned the TX off and back on, or simply selected a different cab and then went back to the cab they were using, and it re-linked.
