The pop up is gone, and so is the thread about it. I don't object to Kalmbach pushing it's own pubs on it's own forum; but if you do, give us a way to cancel it once it has been read! It is good business to preach to the choir, as they are most likely to buy! Just don't be obnoxious about it! Surely in this age of electronics that would not be an unattainable concept to be able to do away with it once read.
Or only have it pop up once on login, but not every time you go from one thread to another.
I'm trying to find a middle ground for you! Thanks for removing it.
I second the thanks! it was aggravating. Glad to see some folks do still listen.....or read. LOL
I third that appriciation.
QUESTION: is Charlie Beall's article out yet in the Sept. issue or is it gonna be up coming ??
I hope it hi-lites something about big DIESEL power, I know that he likes to run it. The constant shortline steam stuff gets to be boring after awhile, mainline America from the late fifties on, too, would be nice to read about once in awhile, and to see large layouts pictured with wide sweeping curves and long trains published at times......hint....hint....
