Late afternoon sun
Posted by Ray Dunakin on Sunday, May 17, 2009 8:21 PM
Two visitors enjoy the late afternoon sun as a train passes by the Monolith Mine ruins. The duo are unaware that they're being watched by one of the local critters: Meanwhile, In-ko-pah Railroad's locomotive #1, "Cristine", crosses the Serenity Canyon Viaduct: The caboose displays the railroad's herald: (The decals were supplied by Stan Cedarleaf.)

That is just an awsome layout you have.  I bet the RR looks great as the sun is setting or rising with all the rock.  Must be very relaxing sitting down with a bevarage waching the trains

Beautiful work Ray; looks like the Sierra east slope and Nevada Great Basin sunsets when everything glows. Congratulations really enjoyed your two part piece in GR.

Yep, it's my favorite time to go out and watch the train chugging through the scenery.

I already thought I sucked as a modeler. Now all doubt has been removed.

GDS:

Compared to Ray and a few others, most of us "have vast potential for improvement." Following Ray's narratives, I have been attempting to build some stone structures. Nothing yet worth bragging about but getting better each time. OK, so I've built the same building eight times, but there is improvement each time.

I hear you Tom. Tell you the truth, I'm just slap proud to even say "hey I post on a forum with that guy!" ......and it could be said about so many of you. Me.....I just suck. LOL
