Hiya Jack,

   If you get a chance, visit the Washington State Historical Museum in Tacoma. They have a very nice layout depicting the Northern Pacific's influence in our area.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm less than 5 miles from cherry st so I'll swing by and have a look.

I'm in Olympia working with the BNSF on a track maintenance issue.  I was on my way home from San Francisco when I got diverted 700 miles north.   No matter, I'm sure there are some model train buffs around here somewhere.....

Now, 60 miles north, there's Eastside Trains in Kirkland.

And this Friday, 1400-2100 local, just a couple of miles North of Eastside is an ops session at the CCRy.
