There are two or three things for you to think about, 1 will the main cicuit board accept the extra load, 2 if its not broke why change it. 3 And as you say its an old one you may change it and then regret it.

Has anyone replaced there older version of USA's smoke unit with the new fan driven unit? I was thinking of upgrading my older GP7 & 9 smokes unit with the one in the GP 38-2. Thanks Sean
