Well, I had to take that stab!  Raised in N. Wildwood and lived there til age 22.   Only sledding those days was the ramps of the boardwalk.  Then they built the Parkway with all those nice overpasses with great sledding embankments!   Moved back to CMC (Rio Grande) at 35 and stayed for another 18 years til I moved across the Bay in '93.

I can only remember about 3 snows that hung around for a week!

Gotta drum the tourist business for my friends over there!

Snowshoe, just move down to Cape May County and you'll be able to run most of the time.   A 3 foot snow often lasts only 2 days!   Might lose some days to rain, but that happens just about everywhere!

Im not a big beach/ocean fan.  I like my mountains and snow too much.  When I cant run trains I just ice climb, snowshoe or XC ski.  PLus its neat to see your layout burried for such long periods and the when it melts its like a new layout.  You find things you forgot about.

Morning, Seems like you have had a bit more snow than us over my side of the pond, we have had about 14 inches.  But temp is well below freezing over here so digging out will have to wait.  Good pics very enjoyable

Finally dug out

After spending three days digging out I was able to get some trains running again on the KMRR.  Although the only thing I could get to fit between snow mounds was my HLW Mack and ore cars.   Today finaly went above freezing helping with the thaw process. Still  alot of snow out their.
