 Rene,

Thanks! I am and I did. And thanks to everyone else. It does appear that Accucraft brass is worth it! :>)

I typed in "another key word" and got "Your search returned 0 results".

Trust TOC to do that and tell about it!  LOL

Most of Accucraft's locomotives have been reviewed by GR, so check the product reviews if there's a specific one you're after. The ones I've reviewed have all been very good. There were some minor, quirky things with each of them, but in terms of overall appearance and performance, they're really hard to beat. Later, K

I'm gonna have to say YES. With Accucraft, it's not JUST a brass thing. It's VERY good detail also. The run quality is also top notch. I have some Acccraft short flat cars, and I must say they are some of the most detailed cars I have seen. I want one of the 1:20.3 Whitcomb critters really badly. Some brass just isn't worth the extra cost, but I have to say I think most of the Accucraft stuff is. I want the Climax they are coming out with.

Here are two videos that have my Accucraft K-4, with Phoenix2k2, Aristo TE, and Aristo smoke unit installed.

The detail on the K4 is great.  It runs smoothly after a bit of dialing in with the sound/RC.

I am thinhking of making a big splurge and "upgrading" to an Accucraft brass engine. I am looking for comments as to the reliabilty of thir engines, and is the brass worth the extra cost?
