That's really nice, Mooz. I've started small, too, but indoors. With my disabilities, the heat down here tears me up. It gets hot as a sumbee in middle Georgia in the summer. I'm just gonna keep it in my 9.5'X9.5' spare room. It's all good if you're havin fun!
Hi Good for you I started with a dog bone for the first summer then it gets bigger more track sidings and extra loops After 4 years i`ve about 400ft of track several locos and rolling stock. Start small and enjoy it
Age is only a state of mind, keep the mind active and enjoy life
Most all of us started with a small loop and grew from there. Remember, around here we like to see pictures of progress. Now for the real question, "Is the GRR for you or the kids?" Both I hope. Enjoy them while they are small, they grow up entirely too fast.
Hey we all gotta start somewhere
My first layout was just as big, I just piled a bunch of rocks around to make a rock garden layout and added some simple birdhouses found at discount stores.
Just get something down and running, and then grow from there
Have fun with your trains
