Model of Church
Posted by jhsimpson62 on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 12:28 PM

The model church which was mentioned in an earlier post is now completed and installed on the train lot. Thought I would post the completion since the start was mentioned. Looks good in the lot and so far all the neighbors and friends have identified it, so I guess its close enough to the real thing. Here are the pictures.

I really like that you used glass from the original building in this project. Very cool. On a related note, it seems there are several forum users who are building churches lately. :-)

It's the times of trial and tribulation bringing people back to the basics!     Next thing you know they'll put Christ back into Christmas!   Winter Holiday, Bah, Humbug!

Thanks Rene, I thought it was a good idea since it was available. I must say it doesn't show up as well as I thought it would unless you are right on top of it. I guess its because the "knobs" are so large that they completely fill the space between the mullions and don't show.
