I don,t see why anyone would be upset what you have done looks great. Besides it,s your rr the only person that counts is the person that is doing the work. If you like it then be proud of it. Looks great.

IT'S NICE TO KNOW ONE CAN ENGAGE IN THIS HOBBY AND FEEL GOOD WITH IT, KNOWING WHAT ONE DOES IS JUST FINE IF HE'S HAPPY WITH IT. I'M GLAD I CAN BE HAPPY WITH MY BUILDING AND NOT BE WORRIED ABOUT POSTING PICTURES.

If someone gets upset about your construction, then that is their problem and they need to keep it to themself. I say, looks like a work of beauty in progress. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing pix of it "in the dirt" (out in your empire)

YOU GUYS ARE TOO NICE!! NO I'M NOT A RETIRED CARPENTER, BUT HAVE ALWAYS LIKE WORKING WITH WOOD. MY FATHER WAS A CARPENTER AND I ONLY WISH I HAD PAID MORE ATTENTION TO HIS MANY SKILLS AS I GREW UP. MY WIFE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MY (OUR) RAILROAD (SOMETIMES) AND SAYS LESS ABOUT MY LUMBER PURCHASES.

I TOOK A SECTION OF FOUR FOOT LGB TRACK AND TOOK THE RAILS OFF AND THEN RAN THE TIES THROUGH MY TABLE SAW. CUT THEM IN HALF. A HOBBY STORE LET ME USE THEIR RAIL BENDER AND THAT'S HOW I GOT THE CIRCLE, ON THE FIRST TRY!! I TRIED MAKING WHEELS TO RUN ON THE TRACK, BUT THEY WOULDN'T STAY ON THE TRACK, WHICH DISAPPOINTED ME A LOT. I FOUND THE SMALLEST COASTER WHEELS I COULD AND MOUNTED THEM OUTSIDE THE TRACK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATFORM. GLADLY, ONE REALLY HAS TO LOOK TO SEE THEM. THEN I SPRAYED THE TREATED WOOD WITH SPRAY PAINT THAT LOOKS LIKE CEMENT.
HI MARTY, WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT TILL SPRING FOR THE ENGINE HOUSE TO HIT THE DIRT. WE GOT FIVE INCHES OF SNOW ON MONDAY AND THE WEATHER SAYS TO EXPECT FIVE MORE THIS WEDNESDAY.

I've often wondered however, why nobody seems to want to build an engine house with a transfer table? Every one that I've seen has been a turntable type. Pensy had a transfer table engine house with a wye at Wilmington, DE (now the Amtrak shop) built around 1910 or so, that would make a good modeling subject.
