Thanks Ray. It's a Fujifilm S5200. It's WAY more camera than I know how to use. LMAO. My family got it for me for Christmas two years ago.
Since all of you were kind enough to give me some great suggestions, I thought that I would let you see the outcome. Thank you Brian, the Hartland gondola was a wonderful idea.
That was funny right there. I don't care who you are.
GearDrivenSteam Thanks, Bill! More great stuff. Looks like miniature head and footboards for your bridge. Naw....couldn't be. LOL

With sleepers down the middle, I love it.
Have fun, Rob
I use a Toytrain tender with my Porter too. It has added details from Ozark Miniatures. I also used a Hartland gondola to make a tender for my grandson's Porter. Black aquarium gravel over a foam core was used to make a coal load.
g. gage, if these are pics from your railroad, I'd love to see more.
PERFECT!!! Thanks, Brian.
You could whip one out just like that from a HLW mini gondola-

My Porter is modeled after one used on the Hobart Estate, a logging company that supplied mine timbers from the Sierra Nevada to the Comstock at Virginia City. The tender was built about ten years ago, made from an LGB #4045 car. I cut the height down and cut the front out (facing the loco) and added Evergreen grooved sheet plastic (matching the end) for side boards. I also added foot boards around the tender car to widen it to match the loco. I finished it with spoke wheels, a load of wood and tool box at the rear.
Hope this helps, Rob
Thanks, VIc.
This is the best one, it was made just for the small locos like the porters in the Toytrain line

Have fun with your trains
I'm pretty sure the one I have now is New Bright, but as I said, it's a bit large. Especially since I'm starting this indoors now and am limited with space, I wandet a small a tender as I could find. Thanks. I'll keep scopin out EvilBay.
GearDrivenSteam Anyone know a good small tender for the LGB Porter? I have one now, but it's a bit large. Thanks.

I had a bunch of New Brite stuff that I accumulated cheaply and used one of their tenders to use with a LGB locomotive from a LGB stsrter set that had no tender. Had to do a bit of modifying on the couplers but it worked pretty well. There's a lot of New Brite stuff on ebay usually.
