I hope all who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great day yesterday and to those who are fortunate enough to be at home with family until Monday I wish a great time.

It is not a festival in the UK but many over here do honor Thanksgiving.  Yesterday I thought of all my American friends and Forum friends and thanks to the wonders of the web I was able to watch Macy's Parade as it passed through Times Square, New York, on my pc. Thumbs Up

To all who celebrate Thanksgiving, have a wonderful holiday. Hubby and I are traveling to my parent's house tonight for a couple of days, so my access to computers will be limited (no computers in boonie-land, heh, heh). I'll be back in the office early on Monday! Rene

Thanksgiving and a train widow!

Started off being a good Thanksgiving.  Did some early work on the water softner, cleaned the tracks on my backyard railroad, set up some of my Kalamazoo freight cars with my old timey Aristo Engine and it all ran so smoothly that I felt so grat and got into my Mexican Mudslide bottle, fell asleep sitting beside my layout and then all hell broke lose; my train widow wife actually wanted me to join her and our two chihuahua's for Thanksgiving activities sitting in the house, watching her tv shows and eating pizza Banged Head

Now I have to work out a equal time schedule with the wife for weekends and holidays to give up train time for family timeZzz

Woe is me---what shall I do?

Anyone have any good ideas on how to placate train widow spouses or similar tales of horror?

Happy Holidays to all!  Let us give thanks to the Indian Squanto, without whom our history would be quite a bit different.
