how to build a control board?
Posted by m2RR on Sunday, November 16, 2008 8:25 PM

i am building a garden railroad and am going to be controlling it from inside my garage (underground wires from my transformer to my track and switches.) I've been trying to find plans online for building a control board with lights and switches to control my electronic uncouplers, track switches, lights, etc...

can anyone point me in the right direction? i am a rookie when it comes to electronics, as i've always relied on the LGB orange switch boxes to handle these tasks. my track commands have outgrown my switch box, and i thought it'd be a fun project to try and centralize all of my controls onto one board. it'd also be great to have led lights indicating which direction my switches are going.

thanks in advance!
