I just wanted to let you know that I really liked your review of the Bachmann Davenport. I had been thinking of adding one of these to my collection and now I have made up my mind to do just that when I can. Thanks for a great review.

I'm practically in love with little switcher diesels like the Davenport, I recently picked up an LGB 2090 siderod switcher that I plan to do a good bit of work on(it'll effectively be my first large scale diesel ever) and if it's good, then i'll go farther with others..the Davenport is in the 'to buy' list for sure though.
