I have never bad mouth any of Vic's projects, I have admitted my envy at his skills many time. OTOH I have "putzed" with him a few many times about having more pieces of motive power than liniar feet of track. Many times I have asked him if he was ever interested in leasing or renting options.
Vic:
Thanks for this article, I've been stumbling over how to link some logging disconnects.

Triggy was joking with Vic and did not mean to PO you............KISSY, KISSY?
Drama Queen? LMAO
Well vic I got changed my link and pins to your system. What a sweat sytem you came up with. The only thing a did different was use loops instead of the wire with two small loops on the ends. I got them on the mini log cars and my engine. It runs great and looks sooooo much better. It actually looks more realistic now.

Here you go. I just have to add some chain.
Un-popped 1/16" Pop-Rivets for pins, great idea !

This is part 2,
This coupler is designed around an HLW minicar with Bachmann small diameter ore car wheels instead of the large wheels that come with the kit.
Note: as of 7/2009 this second part is also in the self-contained PDF file from first post

Really nice job, Vic. You're quite a craftsman.
