Am I missing something? All of the above annotations are valid reasons for removing the product from the shelves. I have just returned to working on a project in which the entire site had to be abandoned because of asbestos found on the site during drilling the piles for the foundations. The UNI, (the Danish equivalent of the EPA), required the site to have a 30cm concrete raft over it, and monitored the wind and dust from it for 6 weeks before they were remotely happy with us continuing... Years ago I was a chemistry teacher and I have fair knowledge of poisons. Arsenic is a curious one -as it is not the arsenic itself that is poisonous -but rather the compounds the body develops to get rid of it. Since early times it has been known that if you feed someone low doses of it and then suddenly stop -THEN the person dies of arsenic poisoning. As to your childhood recollections -all I have to say is that you were very lucky... regards ralph

Hi Tode, thanks for the info, but i think EPA is full of crap.  I do know their are people who us chemicals not to specks. I am going on 76 years of age and when we were young on the farm we had lots of livestock.  Every Saturday we sprayed the barns and out buildings with DDT, some times my brother and I would get into a fight with the hand pumps and spray each other, both are in good health today.  We also used arsenic dust on Cotton along with Sulphur, benzinehexicloride combo, along with lots of other chemicals band by EPA.  Mexico and other countries still use some of these chemicals today and we buy fruits and vegetables from them today.  I love Roundup for weed control on my railroad .
