First post on the Garden Railways forum... Normally I stay in the TRAINS and MR area, but here goes.
Today I visited the Waushakum Live Steamers Club in Holliston, MA. They have both a 3-1/2" and 4-3/4" high line (it's duel gauge) and a 7-1/4" ground line. The high line has about 1,700' of track, while the ground line has about 3,500' of track. There were rides on the ground line, and a few on the high line although it was unclear how to get one. I took quite a few photos of the trains and the facilities for servicing them, which I'll share here. There's also a video which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YPG-Gw6mhY
Facilities:
Ground Line: I took a ride on this, but no photos or video was allowed to avoid rocking the car. One interesting part was when the train stalled on a grade, and we received helpers in the form of the head and rear end brakemen pushing the train by hand!
High Line:
Hope you enjoyed!
