It was nice to not only see the Editor but to hear him.  I look forward to the December edition and would add that the article on building a coal hopper sounds of great interest to me.  I like the magazine quite a lot and its sister CT is also a great read.

Rene,

Looked at the vid. I thought you'd be in it?

Do you folks want 'built this' type submissions, or do you have a stable of contributors to whom projects/topics are assigned? (I once was a tech writer. I don't whine and cancel my subsciption upon receiving a rejection).

Marc, like all great actor's start, we won't scale your preformance with just your screen test. I don't think Cloney would have been any better (but my girl probably would've prefered him). Keep the issues rocking, Joe

When will the December issue hit the shelves? Mid December? If so seems like they got us with antisipation a little early.I can't wait and I just have a slight interest in garden railroading, still I believe one day I will be doing it.

Besides they forgot the Holloween Train....skipped it.......so sad.

Les: Yes, we are always looking for project-type articles. Email Marc at mhorovitz@kalmbach.com if you have an idea (send a pic if possible)

Marty: You need Flash I think to be able to watch the video.

Patrick: The December issue ships to subscribers on Oct. 25 (yikes) and goes on the newstands on November 11.

What a cool idea! I see Marc is the "dry humor" type. He's probably a hoot around the office. I think this is a great idea.

Yes, Marty, fine with me. I'm sure those in nursing homes, etc. will really appreciate them.
