Great Pictures TJ. I have actually white water rafted down under that bridge. There is a very interesting town, upstream, Thurmond, with a cool station, and just a neat location. Maybe you will get up there and take some more pictures.
I have NOT jumped off that bridge.

Ben, Uncle Sneaky didn't train him to jump from high places when he was in the Army; so why should he do it now, especially since he has that houseful of kids to take care of?
I'd say he's more likely to be one of those who try to pick up the pieces after the shindig is over!
HELLO T.J.
Are you going to be one of the jumpers ????? thanks for the pictures . Ben
New river gorge, WV. We are working on the East side of the river under the 876ft tall bridge. In a few weeks over 450 people will parachute off the bridge, 200+ will rappel or bungee jump here. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos, I forgot to bring my digital so I was using a disposable.....
Nice scenery in WV. Great place to be a rail fan.
Rugged terrain is conquered by the railroads. Here is a MOW work crew on the side of the mountain (look to the center of the photo).
