Custom G scale decals?
Posted by MilwMikeTrains on Friday, September 26, 2008 8:12 AM

Does anyone have a source for custom made decals in G scale?  I have a project that I would like to do, but can't seem to find anyone who does decals this size.  Thanks to all who reply.

I had mine made by Rail Graphics, and they did a nice job.  I've done 2 locomotives (1:20.3), three passenger cars, and several freight cars.  These have held up well over the past two years.  I had to "re-seat" one on the side of a locomotive tender, but it has held fine since then.   As I recall, I specified SIZE of the lettering (in fractions of an inch) in ordering rather than specifying "G scale", which could mean a number of scales.  Rail Graphic's sizes "E & F" worked well, and they did custom design on "arching" lettering for a logo, too.

Hi, I`ve used GScaleGraphics.net      Just told him what I wanted and he emailed me with a proto type which I checked against my carriage, and when the graphic I had orderd arrived it was spot on fitted 100%.    Very pleased with this company.     Hope this helps
