Hello Everyone... Well, after hurricane Katrina I wanted to start to build a garden layout, but I wanted to wait a couple of years to see how our weather would be.. Now we just had hurricane Gustav and hurricane Ike on the way, plus the price of track keeps going up, There is no way for me to stay in G scale. I've been doing model trains for 30 years and been in G scale since 1985. I hate it, but I want it where if I do have to leave my home due to a hurricane I can pack up my Loco's and take them with me, I have so much G scale stuff it would take a U haul to carry it all... I will be selling them on ebay in the next few weeks, starting tonight, so if you guys want some older models that are hard to find or some newer models check me out on ebay.. Look for my screen name, lgbtrainsales ..... I'll be going back to HO scale and hope to have as good of guy's on the forum as we do here on the garden side... Thanks, Mark

Dont sell everything, keep a few of your favorite engines and cars for seed, you never know where you'll end up, you may end up in a place just screaming for a garden RR. Track and all that can be replaced, but better to have a couple peices on hand then to start from scratch again.

Large scale doesn't necessarily mean a LARGE space. I'm doing 1:20.3 in a 9.5'X9.5' room, and I'm gonna be right happy with it.
