The green side lense just popped right out I dont think it was glued all I did was tap it with a small eye glass screw driver from the back side through the hole where the marker mounts to the side of the caboose. Then I took it with me to Hobby Lobby and they just happened to sell a bag of assorted colors that are exactly the same size Cool

Looks Grande Wink

Those caboose mods really help the looks of an already nice USA Trains model.  How did you change the markers to amber on the stock USA Trains marker lights?

Is it possible the smoke fan is wired backwards?  At any rate, I like thet K27. Makes me want one.

Well its been 7 months since I ran 464 and made those video's I dont like running it much because it still needs to have the counterweights replaced. That is also part of the reason I only ran it with a caboose yesterday. I was going to run a mixed train with 4 coaches and a few box/stock car's but with the counterweights and the loco not having been run in 7 months I didnt want to push it.

464 in the "RGS Yard" before the run. I drained the smoke fluid shortly after taking this! The smoke system really sucks it spits fluid everywhere so the sparkarrestor is actualy required! Plus the fan inside im guessing for the motor actually sucks the smoke back in so you get hardly any smoke at all. I took this picture with just a little power enough for the lights to come on but not the fan.  Dead

The USA Trains long caboose 0505 is the same one from the videos I made 7 months ago though it has gotten some cosmetic work done to it. Painted the roof black, railings and whatnot white, ozark brake wheels, LGB Archbar trucks w/ball bearing wheels and last but not least amber lense on the sides of the markers

Short video of 464 moving out of the yard  Approve

Aye that was my first impression aswell! At first I was worried it would be to big but the first time I ran it with my 1:22 stuff I was reminded of a K36 or K37 so IMO it still looks good, just try not to put anything 1:24 right behind it Wink [;)]

Great videos Smile [:)]

Nice to see your growing roster.

I also like the looks of the K-27 with 1:22.5 equipment.  Reminds me of a K-36.  Great now I'm going to have to get one of them K-27s.

Yeah I had my popcorn with this movie!

Next you should change out and unload the box cars then pull out the passanger cars but keep the cattle cars next to the coal, hook up and go with passangers,,,,switchn at its best!

As requested by the guys over on the car forum I post on, same consist with a flatcar added to the front, after about a half hour if trial and error I removed the rear coupler from the flatcar along with the grab irons and wrapped the loco's plow mounted coupler in electrical tape to prevent it from derailing the flatcar in the turns Dead [xx(]

Would have sounded a little better if all the LGB car's had metal wheels, I should do a video in the morning when I get home with all my freight cars now that would sound nice! Big Smile [:D]

It got the point across! Besides I could listen to the click-de-clack all the time.Tongue [:P]

Only thing that kills it is a tire squeeling it's head off or shooting sparks every where Grumpy [|(]

I didnt even think to add the open air car untill after I took the video Dead [xx(]

Most likely I will be doing another video tomorow morning when I get home from work, couple buddies on a car forum I also posted the video on are hounding me to put a flatcar infront of the train with the camera on it lol!

As far as sound goes... Yeah it would be nice but the cost is way to much and as little as 464 gets run I cant justify the cost... 464 only has a few hours of run time, I still need to get a set of the new counter weights Ashamed [*^_^*]
