Long time reader first time posting...
Found this website today while doing some research on the State of Illinois website and thought I would share it. It contains plans and cutouts of historic downtown buildings in Illinois. Although they are in HO scale, I thought I would give enlarging them to 1:24 or 1:29 a try, mocking them up, and then building them out of suitable outdoor materials. For those that are modeling indoor the suggested paper and cardboard construction might make some fairly quick background buildings. Any way... I've seen a lot of creative people on this forum and thought someone else might benefit as well. If I get something built I will post pictures.

Happy railroading....

Yes, these paper buildings can be used as a base for coreplas (spelling) or if you want wood.

Hi Joe; welcome aboard. That's a great link you posted. I model in 1:29 scale and should be able to tripple the building size and use the cut outs.
Thanks again, Rob
