A bird left purple droppings on the light gray roof of my wooden electric freight motor. Does anyone out there have a sure-fire method for removing the stuff? Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Yup, the pokeweed berries ripen up this time of year -
could be mulberries, too -
or even blackberries. They grow wild all over these parts. -
now, I'm hungry

It's poke weed. I have a small area of my yard that I'm too lazy to landscape so I abandoned it and deemed it "habitat". Poke weed thrives there along with golden rod, milk weed and all the other stuff that makes this area so miserable for folks with alergies.
