You don't have to sign-in to read the Aristo Forum (just like most others).  A list of the proposed ten road names and an undec is listed there.  I have just read that info, by way of a test, to be certain that no sign-in is required.  Posting, as elsewhere, requires a sign-in. Wink [;)]

Yes but try to open the attached image and you get the log in prompt

HI All

I have seen the pics of the new aristo 2-8-0 and it looks great and it will be worth the wait. Lewis said that the detail will be the best yet. So come on 2-8-0.

3609 will wait

How can dealers list it for sale, and it really isn't close to being released. According to the Aristo site they are not even listing the roadnames yet.

It's on that slow boat from China, or maybe its shipment is being held up by the Chinese Government's edict that all factories had to close one month prior to the Olympics in an attempt to clean up their polluted atmosphere.

Sad I have to sign up for a peek at this loco but I will not. Guess I will wait till 2008 "IF" they can produce it and have it on the market by then.

A preview is on the Aristo Forum today.  It is a development pic, not a full model yet,  so that is why it does not appear as stock on the on-line store site.   In a post on the Aristo-Craft Forum in the early part of the year Lewis Polk said they hoped to have them by the fall 2008.
