Since this just came up twice, here's how!

1) First you need somewhere online to host your pictures. There are free hosting sites. A few of us use Photobucket.com , other sites include flickr.com and imageshack.us .

2) Resize your picture! 640 pixels wide is optimal for most fora. Use you own photo editing software or services like photobucket will resize your pic as you upload it. Just be sure to use the appropriate setting.

3) Once your pic is uploaded, find its url. Usually its just listed under the image. Copy it to you computer's clipboard (highlight it, then hit CNTL C)

4) Come to you post here and click on the picture of the tree in the menu (next to the smiley face). In the pop up window paste (CNTL V) where it says Image URL. Hit the "Insert" button.

5) If all went well, your picture should now be in your post.
