Thanks for the help Brian. I see this site auto sizes the picture, that is a good thing for me.

Well that didn't work?

Can you post pics from myspace?

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=69564646&albumID=633828&imageID=32178215

I couldn't get that link to go anywhere except the myspace front page. If you have your pics online already follow these steps -

Open a reply post here and in a separate window/tab open the page where your pics are

Right click on the picture

Scroll down to "Copy Image Location" and Left click on it

Come back here to your reply post and click on the picture of the tree in the menu above (next to the smiley face)

In the pop up box paste in the url (CNTL V)

Click on the Insert button

Repeat as necessary.

Photobucket is free. Just post with the line [*img]bnfvsiknfskngfskln.jpg[/img] NOTE! no * should be in the line!

Have to ask was that a 60mph zone?

Nice vid. Good trackwork but would like to see some close up shots of the roadbed and track.

My first track is now running

It is only a simple loop of 12.5' curve with 6-6 foot sections of straight. I used a method of landscape fabric with cold patch layed on it. I didn't pack the cold patch like you would fixing a driveway I just left it loose with a slight mound on each side of where the track will go. After setting the track I used chicken grit for ballast. After watering with the hose the pockets in the cold patch seeems to help hold the ballast. I will post some pictures when I get them on the computer.

PS I hope the cold patch won't hurt the plastic ties. Could an oil based product like asphault do damage to the plastic ties?
