My first loco
Posted by castlebravo on Friday, July 18, 2008 7:21 PM

I got it today. The heritage series from USA, the C&NW unit. My track is not done yet but I sure would like any info anyone has on these units. Problems or even how to take them apart, anything you have would be great.

Thanks, Rick

Heritage series SD-70? If so, hopefully, you have some big wide curves for it (8 foot diameter or better) and a big power supply (at least 10 amps) as USAT locos can be power hogs.

12.5 min on the curves. For now I have 10 amps of power. If/when I expand my track more I might want to use battery power in the future.

I have the SP and it runs like a champ.  You will not be disappointed.
