Is this another example of ad.mans spin?

We even recognise and use the superb appellation "mudhen" this side of the pond.   I guess salesmen look at things in their own jingoistic jargon whereas railfans have a more prosaic view.Laugh [(-D]

lol funny pic & vid "Big Smile [:D]

As for "Kay" gimme a break K27's already have a nickname "Mudhen" you cant just re-nickname somthing because you think it needs a corney name! I guess Mudhen must be to long and just using "K27" would just make waaaay to much sence lets make a brand new nickname for it we shall call it "The Letter K" lol

OK this from the Bmann website regarding the Mallet turning radius:

Dear All,
It appears that the new loco will run on R2 radius, and with a minor modification it will go around R1.  I want to see a production model before I detail the discussed modification, however.
Have fun!

Brian, you dont like Davey? its just shorthand for Davenport. Kinda a tradition with Bachman products, Annie, Indy, Dizzy, Sadie, Sid, Connie, they're nothing more than convienient shorthand terms used when talking about their product.Wink [;)]

I better not tell you then that the Mallet has already been dubbed "Artie" short for "Articulated" Shock [:O]

lol oh geez.. see thing is you say those and the first thing that comes to mind to me is anything but a locomotive mosty charactors from crappy movies or tv shows or old pets lol

Im just glad they didnt give the K27 some goofy nickname lol

Davey = Davey & Goliath with the dog saying "Daaaaavey"

Daaaavey, the Subgenius says its already being nicknemed "Kay" Mischief [:-,]

Ummmmmm........what???????????????  If we give them nicknames, why not give them the real ones.  Like Ten-Wheeler, Mogel, 44 Tonner, What ever the heck is sadie and sid are, Consolidation, and Mallet.  What is wrong with those ones????Sign - Dots [#dots]

...because typing "consolidated" puts my fingers in a knot ....Whistling [:-^]

FYI..Sadie...Saddletanker, Sid...Sidetanker Wink [;)]

lol thats why I just call them 2-8-0's Black Eye [B)]

wheel arrangment is easier to type than any nicknames, I refer to my anniversary 4-6-0's as "4-6-0 +" Only locomotives I refer to by a name are ones that actually have a name like the 4-4-0's "General" and "Texas" for example and K27's as "Mudhen's" because thats what my sisters kid calls them... Lets not forget Thomas and Friends Tongue [:P]
