Vic, that is the nicest Christmas train that I've ever seen...so much nicer than the tired old plastic cars with printed holiday designs on them. More texture and sparkle on yours!

Man I packed that thing away last Febuary....Wink [;)]

Heres a couple file pics:

The engine is a heavly bashed LGB Porter, cars are standard LGB 'toytrain' line flatcars, the holiday "stuff" came from Micheal's Craft Store, they have a bunch of xmas stuff every year, I just bought a mess of it and started piling it on. I used Silicon adhesive to glue most everything together, with some ACC on the vertical mounted stuff.

BTW the track in the first pic is the handbent 32" dia track now on the portable layout, and the second pic is 32" dia snap track form HLW mounted to a solid wood tabletop. I put a 1/8" corkbed under the track and a 3/8" felt base added under it to help control sound.

HLW was selling some pre-painted Xmas cars last year, but they arent cheap. So maybe a trip to the local Micheal's or go on line and see what they offer

   Have fun with your trains
