I don't have the switch tower , YET, i'm going to send for it maybe tomorrow . is your lay out out side or in side???? what state are you in ??? do you have a pond in yours ??? ben
Nice job Benny. I've put together the switch tower, after converting it to 1:32 scale. That just involved making the doorways about half an inch shorter, so they measure 7 feet in 1:32 (2 5/8 inches). I cut all the walls down by that much, then trimmed the doors to be the right height. Doors are too wide, but door widths vary a lot in real life. Didn't fool with the windows, as they are all sizes! <G>
Couldn't figure out how to post my picture, but I did send it to Colorado Models to include. Do know if they've done it yet.

I agree, bright colors just might keep a klutz like me from stepping on a building.

Ben,
I see nothing wrong with bright colors. My house is bright orange - yes orange with bright yellow doors and window frames. You would think people would notice a bright orange house, people I know that drive by the house every day never noticed the color until I pointed it out to them.
I did see one other house the same color. It was in the Naples Florida area. I saw it from route 75 south bound.
Here's to loud colors,
I have the third building over half done ,after i paint it i'll post a picture of it . next week i hope , if we get good weather to paint out side . BEN
Tom not sure on the bath tub and lady. john no artist .
Joe- yes i like brite colors and the 3rd building i'm working on might be dark brown with lite tan windows and black roof.
Toad - you will not miss the buildings at my lay out , why hide them , not sure on weathering them . BEN
Those you will not be able to miss on the track plan. You going to weather?
