Hey there,
Joe, I travel around a lot via tractor/trailer and have seen many configurations. Really does not seem to take any specific pattern other than what Marty mentioned. I have a friend who is an engineer so I will ask him. Great shot Marty! Later eh...Brian.

Joe
our trains did not get a "nap". If you look at TRAINS mag or even watch trains as you drive around they are in all different arrangments. Mainly so they can head both ways with out a turntable. Some RR ran long hood first cause of wrecks would help the engineers. I think now days anything goes.
First what units do you own and how do you want to run them?

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.

I have a question and wanted to throw it out to all of you and see what kind of responses it would bring....When I run 3 or 4 units, what is the logic on how they should face.....I have been told, the first one faces the direction of travel and the next ones should face the opposite.....just wanted everyone input to see what everyone has found out over the years of railroading.....

75 in Atlanta today...the trees are blooming and the trains are running after a long winters nap...

hope everyone is doing well

Joe
