 Hi Coogler Rail Line

It is an alloy of several different insperations

How well its coming together I leave others to judge the serious stuff, I am having too much fun with this oneBig Smile [:D]

The influences are

 pictures of Medieval peasants cottages

Picture postcard Britain

A description of a Black Forrest forresters hut (rats it had no picture)

Elizibethan buildings

Faerie tales

The War Hammer world background fluff

And believe it or not a picture of a cottage the same shape in India it was a bit more brightly coloured than mine and not half timbered

Oh! and a good dose of applied organised insanitySmile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

regards John Busby

What was his inspiration?  It looks like some A frame cattages that we saw in Germany.

Hi TJ

Thanks for posting pictures.

hopefull more pictures soon roof tile no 34 35 36 its one tile at a time not strip cut ones so its taking a while.

To give people an idea of the size of the toad stools the wood beam behind them is 8mm high or just under I think?? 3/8 of an inch

The red ones do have the regulation  fantasy white dots on them and have become something of a marker to say its mine when a fantasy building is built by me.

In spite of what it is, it is being built for the railway

My apologies for not posting sooner.  Here are some updated photos of the "witches hut" that John is building.  Nice work there!
