William,

I use Apple Works 6 for all my railway work -I actually have all the plans for the next layout drawn in it. The layout will be 15m by 34m. Why try to make things more complicated for yourself?

regards

ralph

Toad:

You're like me, stick to pencil and LARGE PAPAER.  Take a yard stick drill a few holes at the radius's you plan to use and start drawing.

Hi Toad, as I said on MLS, I think I'm out, my wife loaded me with so many Tim Taylor projects, not even waiting till the dang BTS was over to get me started on remodeling the bathroom. I dont have the time to focus on a large scale layout design right now let alone small layout design or my own projects, so sorry bud, bad timing.

If your interested, if I can find it, I have an LGB track planning templete, all you need is a big roll of paper.

   Have fun with your trains

Toad,

Put on your new raincoat and go over the Layout Design Special Interest Group.  Yahoo LDSIG .Their entire focus is layout design.  Bring your wallet, design work is not free.
