I 2 CA!  At last years BTS in Ontario, I took their class on kit building, and they gave use the CA to use on their castings, and elmers TB2 to use for the wood.  A quick wash with white vinager cleans the residue before gluing.

I usually use CA (cyanoacrylate, super glue).

A standard two part epoxy. Since it is not a structural piece then you can use the fast cure variety (5 minutes). Most of the stuff I use it for is structural work -hence I use the two hour variety.
