I'm not new at this, but what the HE** is a GNOMY?

A little friction drive plastic floor toy thingy that Lehmann made. They were about 3" long. That I know of they made the Stainz, a boxcar, a caboose and an open trolley... think real fancy and rather spendy Happy Meal toy, and you'll have the general idea.

The Gnomy toy line is what originally pulled Ernst Paul Lehman, now LGB, out of the financial slump they sufered after WWII. LGB was well known for the patents it held on a number of toy designs, I think???
