Ok I am just one of many that( not yet ) model in other scales. Most have a singel site or two to visit. I am going into On30 ( It's been around since the start of HO )  I have not been able to find a singel source of information  not even in any of the site's host magazines just a review now and again. So what is the chance's of a forum topic for other scale's modeled when the snow's to deep or the rain is pouring down or it's just to cold.

I am moving into On30 now, too.  I've found a few On30 forums to peruse.  First, there's the On30 forum on FreeRails (http://www.freerails.com/view_forum.php?id=4).  Railroad Line Forums has an active On30 area (http://www.railroad-line.com/discussion/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=69).  All Model Railroading covers a lot of scales with an On30-specific area, too (http://www.all-model-railroading.co.uk/forum/).  Both myLargeScale.com and Large Scale Central have On30 areas, but they're not as active as some of the others.

Although I model large scale, I still have a passion for and model in On30. I feel we're rare birds in that a majority of the "Trains General Discussion" forum deals with HO standard gauge. Granted, it's a majority scale but I like to see a forum on On30 and/or narrow gauge modeling. I know "The Gauge" and "Trainboard" forums have separate forums for us narrow gaugers and On30 people. Although a lot of information on this forum is useful in all scales and gauges, it would be nice to hear from others into narrow gauges and minority scales.

David,

I believe that this question was answered in another thread on this forum. There are many On30 websites and forums. A very active forum is "On30 Conspiracy" among many others. Just google "On30" and you'll be surprised at the number of websites you'll find related to this scale/gauge.

I'm not sure that adding an On30 section to this forum will help you very much because of limited participation. I model On30 as well and when I want info about it, I go to On30 Conspiracy or another of many other websites devoted to just On30 or On36 or On24. However when I want to talk about LS (1:29 through 1:20.3)I come to this forum. If I want info on 1:13.7 I go to one of several 7/8" forums.

Hope that helps.
