I am out of touch. Do you have time to carry out those repairs to the DDSL. How did the interview go with Norfolk? I have always found that the cheapest fish have a long life(if they can dodge Mr Heron). The more expensive are more delicate.

IT looks like you need to do a lot of rebuilding and pond cleaning. I need to repair a bridge and fill in ballast at different places , I had to take up about 7 ft. of track to get ready for the septic tank man to pump the tank out , every 3 years we get a letter from the TOWNSHIP to get it done and have a paper filled out and sent back to them.. then I must re do that area for another 3 years . I may have to revamp that area so i don't have to move track every time.

Looks like the girls have been playing with the town and forgot to put the houses back! Given that the railroad was built on a proper foundation I'd suspect that it's more cleanup than rebuilding. (Got any buddies in C of E??) I'm sure that the advent of slightly warmer weather will see you out there with the work platoon, course the little guy is still a tad bit young for even an old Sarge to force into child labor! Have at it!

Wow! Looks like the buildings need a little tender loving care but should come out okay. Lots of pine needles to remove or are they something else? You'll have it back together in no time. Mine has been under 4' of snow most of the winter so I don't know what I'll find.

Deployment has not been kind to the DDSL. I've got a lot of work to do. I believe my plants are still there as I like to use wild flower species and very hardy, local plants. Maybe if I look under the weeds I might find them. The town is destroyed, no hope there except to wait on the FEMA check.
Ah well, this is a "joy" you don't get with HO.
