These pictures were taken near Globe, AZ which is a fair size copper mining town. Operations are much bigger than they were back in the old days of narrow rails.
I'll be modeling a mine operation and these are good subjects.

Neat pics, Rex. Do you know what gauge the track is (18 inch, 24 inch)?

Nice selection of equipment.
Not sure what scale you're planning to model, but Silver Ridge Mining Company has a similar ore car in G scale.
They used to offer many more products. Their flumes were great, and several other figures were nice too. But they're not listed on the website, so perhaps they're not made anymore
Here's what the flumes look like (the figure is from them too):

Rex,
Most excellent pixes. What, pray tell, is the subject of the last picture? It looks like half a power shovel??

Bryon,
The first pictures have wider track than the last one which I believe is a power scoop for loading the tiny ore car. So I guess the answer is both.
Matt,
Nice pic. I'll definately look into Silver Ridge when I return from our cruise. I also need a flume or two for my grist mill.
Going to do a little SCUBA diving this next week.
