Hi ronttuk, Do use the oil that comes with the loco, if you use other stuff you will be looking to replace smoke unit before summer gets here Any good dealer will sell you the right stuff.Smile [:)]

My take on the subject is that it's probably best to use the smoke oil of the unit's manufacturer as there are small differences between one company's unit over another's, and they have formulated thier oil to accomodate the peculiaralirites of the units.
