We took the ABTO Christmas Open House again this year and saw some really great layouts here in the Phoenix area but the last one we visited blew us away. The Palo Verde and Southwestern RR was a 4 acre layout with 2,500 feet of track on raised brick landscaping complete with viewing paths so you could get up close or up high to see the whole RR. We saw 3 100+ car consists running that seemed to go on forever. There are 300+ loco's and more than 4,000 cars available from the specially built "garage".
