Hartford Products Iced Over
Posted by Rastun on Friday, December 14, 2007 11:34 AM

I found this on another forum and posted here to help spread the word.

from Jeanie of Hartford Products

"Dear friends and customers,

We are currently shut down due to the ice storm that hit our area. If you have sent an email, fax, or left a message in the past 10 or so days and have not received a response it is because we did not receive it. We have had limited services (off and on) for at least 10 days and this is day 6 with no cell phone, land phone or electricity.

We have a propane heater in the shop where Mike and I are living with the dogs. Jeremiah and Doug are helping us keep the house and parents homes warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing. We got the parents moved to relatives homes so they are safe.

As of today (Friday 12-14-07) we have intermittent cell phone service, limited line phone service, and the best "guestimate" from the power company is 7-10 days to reach King City. According to the radio they are shooting for all services restored by Dec. 22 or 23. Power lines are still on the ground and more are breaking here in King City plus we are expecting more snow (3-5 inches) and ice tonight.

We will do our best to keep you posted as to when we will be back up and running. I am writing this from St. Joseph where one of my offices got power restored last night.

We have no way of posting this information on our website so please help us spread the word that we are all alive and well just unable to communicate or ship anything due to the power outages.

Thanks for your help in getting the word out. This is the worst possible timing and we are sorry to disappoint our customers.

Thanks again,
Jeanie"
